When our troops know that their families on the home-front are supported, they are better able to do their job with peace of mind. Many do serve or would like to serve these children and their families and want to provide the best support throughout deployment and transitions.
Greatfully, the amount of information and resource materials available for supporting military families is growing. However, this can be overwhelming for a School Counselor or others who want to offer support, but don't know where to turn, which resource to choose, or how to find the time to wade through it all and bring it together into a meaningful support.
This site, Helping Home-Front Heroes, has been created to help you wade through the information, allow you to ask questions and share your feedback to help others too.
